This bundle came out of a deep longing to connect with the magic of my Armenian roots. I started an ancestral herb garden last year, and these medicines are what came out of my time tending to the plants while rooting into re-membrance.
Part connection, part reclamation, part prayer, part diasporan love letter…these herbal medicines were cultivated as a practice of honoring my Armenian ancestors and cultivating a deep sense of belonging. (read more about this in the little book that comes with this bundle!)
Most of the herbs included were grown by my own hands and heart, some are herbs harvested in the Armenian Highlands that were brought back from the shukas during my time in Armenia this summer. In many of the medicines I’ve blended them together to build a bridge of sorts, connecting us with the spirit of homeland from whenever we find ourselves now.
Proceeds from these bundles will be donated to All for Armenia, an on the ground organization providing front-line aid for the refugees of Artsakh and maximizing impact during this critical time for Armenians. Learn more about this network at www.allforarmenia.com
